20 years of American blood in the sand,
And thousands of white marble monuments stand,
What have all of our treasure and casualties bought?
Afghanistan’s fallen. It’s all been for naught.
I raise a toast to all the ones that went, and I’ll drink to the ones that didn’t come back. May they feast in Valhalla.
