Actually, I think them buying heavy is why prices haven't dropped on the retail side as fast as they should. Some things have dropped but there is still a lot of material that is nowhere nearly as low as it should be yet.

Go buy some trim boards or crown molding right now. Hell, go check out the price on a basic 1x6 primed board people use for trim. It's all utterly insane.

It’s the entire reason. Still don’t care; that’s an hour glass short on sand. They can’t sit on it forever and the major players will force the losses by turning over their inventory to make way for the obligations that they already have in production.
