I was there a few weeks ago. Def. a good place.

Step Brothers has also did a remodel and has installed a bunch of flat screens.

The Rendevous has real nice TVs, and space away from the bar to sit. It's on Magazine near the Balcony and such. Great place for Saints games, never been to a Tigers game there though.

Thats the new place correct? How was it?
Two things I need in a sports bar- Clearview of nice flat screen tv's and enough volumn to where I can hear most of the game.

Went there after the game last weekend. I like the bar, moreso than any others in that location. We always meet people there too, pool tables are good for that.

Refs was not bad to watch a game IMO. Had two flat screen TVs (not in HD of course - thanks again Tigervision), and a third showing the USC-Ohio State game. The LSU game audio was on loud so we could hear everything. A handful of LSU fans were there.

I had been there before after a Saints game and had a great "Bayou Bengal Burger" and enjoyed myself. Saturday night, though, I got the same thing and it was terrible. And the waitress screwed up our order and our ticket.

Having been there twice, I don't know which is the norm. But - it was a place in the quarter showing a game on Tigervision for free. I'd do it again and recommend it for that, and based on my previous experience.

And, I'll add this - the Refs place had a guy come in asking them to show the OU game, and they refused. He pointed out that there were two screens showing the LSU game, and they said something to the effect that it's LSU and they weren't changing the channel. He then screamed something like Go Sooners No. 1 and everyone just kind of looked at him with pity and scorn as he shuffled along.

I was too pie-eyed play either, but I tried pool. Is the dart board at the back of the bar?

Beach Corner. TV's everywhere. Not very crowded and the sound is turned up. Great burgers too! Corner of City Park and Canal.

yeah, on that little elevated platform past the end of the bar. Also got smoked by some kids on the foosball table. I think were at least semi-pro.
