Looking at the depth and size of our line compared to them, theyll be worn in the 3rd.

Ive said it before but one of our backs is going to go off late. Unless The Max Cannon has improved deep,i expect heavy run and short passes to help his rhythm.

I think the Tigers run away in the second half. 38-17 or something.

I hope you're right. The first game of the season for LSU is usually a sloppy one. And I hate the fact that this will be UCLA's second game.

I wouldn’t count on this oline wearing anyone down. Hopefully Davis can transform this group.

This will be a higher scoring game than many Tiger fans may think. Our offense was consistently very good last season, and the running game should be even better than it was last year.

Our defense is improved from prior years but is extremely boom or bust. I would expect some big sacks and turnovers to kill LSU drives but also some huge plays from LSU if they can pick up some blitzes.

I think we have a chance to win, but that will really depend on how good LSU's new coordinators are in the first week. If they come out executing well, I don't think we can keep up talent-wise. If we can force a few turnovers and stops early and get our running game going, and feed Greg Dulcich who is going to be an All-American caliber tight end, I think we have a recipe for an upset.

If I were to pick a score I would predict something like 41-34 LSU, with some big plays and sloppy turnovers mixed in.

Our offense should roll against their relatively weak defense. 31-14 Tigers

Our OL couldn’t wear a high school team out last year. Don’t get cocky

Think Miami 2018. We’re more talented but breaking in a new offense so expect a little sloppiness early with us pulling away late. I think a defensive or special teams score in 2nd half that seals the game.

Good comparison. I think UCLA is a little more experienced but outside of that spot on

More experienced, less talented. Probably a wash in the grand scheme of things on how they match up with our roster. I actually think this LSU team will be a lot a like the 2018 team but have a slightly higher ceiling.

I think Miami is a great comparison score wise. I expect the offense to perform better in the UCLA game than they did in the Miami game. The D was huge in that Miami game w a lot of turnovers. Joe had also only been on campus for about a month. Although I will probably be unpleasantly surprised, I think our offense will come out hot in the second half. At least I hope for that lol.

The margin of victory would not surprise me, but I doubt it is that high scoring. Our defense is probably going to be better than you think. Typically when we play OOC foes with “great” offenses we just dominate them. The athleticism on our defense is going to be unlike anything your guys have ever seen.

On the other hand, I doubt our offense will put up so many points as you are predicting. I like the OP’s prediction; and I think something like 34-21 is likely. If it’s a 7 point game, as you suggest, I’d go 31-24. If UCLA wins we will suck this season. And for that to happen, your QB will have to put on a cape. No offense; it’s just a different class of ball in the SEC.

they suck what’s there to talk about? 31-3 at the HALF and 52-17 final score. They couldn’t hang with the back ups, it ain’t gonna be pretty.

This is Chip Kelly’s 4th year at UCLA. This is his make or break year. Offensively they’re going to move the ball. We have all the talent in the world, but it’ll be curious how the new DC’s manage this game. I think it’ll be sloppy game 1, lots of busted plays for each team. They have a very athletic qb who made a ton of big plays last year(#1 qb in college fantasy fb if you play that as well).

I’m expecting a 44-34 type game, Tigers.

Idc how good their offense is in the Pac 12. They’re Oline will not be able to stand up to our Dline. How can they stand up to guys like Roy and Gaye? Ojulari?!
