I agree grasshopper. We beat the shite out of Ohio State in January and Florida beat the shite out of Ohio State in January 2007. What's the big deal about beating the shite out of Ohio State?

Because the last two teams to beat the shite out of OSU were then crowned the National Champions. Am I saying that we should go ahead and give USC the Crystal? NO Should they be number 1? Definately. They looked very impressive while dominating a very good OSU team in every facet of the game.

The last 2 teams that beat Ohio State by more than 7 went on to win the national championship. And USC put up a larger margin of victory on them than either Florida or LSU.

LSU 2007 = National Champions
Florida 2006 = National Champions
USC 2008 = Overrated?

Simply put, it's been a requirement for the last two BCS Champions to beat Ohio State.
That's a good sign for USC.
