I hope we get a healthy 2nd half of the season out of him. I don't mind him taking his time coming back...as long as he does eventually come back healthy.

Alexander logged seven games with the Saints last season after being traded from San Francisco. He tore his Achilles' in Week 16 but should be ready for the start of the season. New Orleans released him after the season but his $13 million cap hit forced their hand. The Saints worked out Alexander in July so the signing likely indicates that they're comfortable with where he's at in his recovery. In seven games with the Saints last year, Alexander defended four passes, forced a fumble, and recovered two others. He started all seven contests in 2020 and only just turned 27 years old this year. He'll be a solid contributor to the New Orleans defense again once fully healthy.

Love the signing but really confused the we have spent two high draft picks on LB that probably won’t see the field. It was obvious to all of us that CB, receiver, and even DT was the play in the draft.

So you don’t think LB was a need in the draft? You realize Kwon is coming off an Achilles injury right? Probably one of the same guys crying we didn’t draft Patrick Queen.

This is great for depth even if he isn't the same kwon. I think he has looked great in his recovery and the energy he brings is great.
