Upset brewing in California recall election? Poll shows tossup on Newsom recall

Just going off the last two presidencies, we’re due for a least one shocking special election result during a president’s first term. I doubt this is it but but I do hope this is it because the only way for this Covid insanity to end is for the left and democrats to have consequences imposed on them and a brutal upset in California of all places would be a great start.
Also if Newsom survives this, he's going to be even more emboldened and the pain will be even worse.

Recall elections / special elections are notoriously hard to handicap.
My gut feeling is that Newsom is a dead duck because he pissed off too many people in the past year. Even with ballot harvesting and election frickery, the state party may decide they are better off picking a successor than saving him.

Democrats always view a small victory as a clear mandate.

I do not see how anyone would not vote to remove him.

Ballot harvesting and machine politics in California.
SF voting is notoriously dirty, with ballot boxes turning up in the bay, and Newsom will likely be funding the harvesting crews to get entire nursing homes to vote for him.

Don’t worry. There will be mail in ballots because of Covid.

Do they vote for an alternative candidate or just an up/down recall?
If it’s the latter, he might be fricked. But you know there will be some fraud.

You get the ballot.
It's yes or no to Gav being Gov
If no then you circle who you want to replace him
That's it
And he's not even listed on the Ballot as a Dem

Who controls the election fraud network in California. They will say if there is an upset.

This is what I found:

In the following pages you will find maps and charts that flag each county as red, yellow or green, based on whether the 2020 vote totals aligned with the trends, or diverged in statistically unlikely ways:
The flaw in this analysis is that counties/parishes that have always been cheatings show up as green like Orleans Parish. Parishes with a lot of suburban women likely went against historical trends in 2020, like St. Tammany (albeit still voting for Trump).

the state party did not run a successor.
it's a simultaneous process.
if recall is passed the republicans plurality winner is governor even if only 35% of votes.

Remember when you lied and said this was a Republican led recall

He’ll be re-elected. There are multiple republicans running which will split votes. Larry Elder is running ads whining about how Newsom was dining indoors while we were stuck at home. That’s his campaign. It’s a joke but he’ll get votes that could go to Cox, who Newsom beat in the last election.

Y'all are forgetting about all the main in ballots and ballot harvesting the Dems can do to keep Newsome. He isn't going anywhere lol
