The real question is how much will we pay to bring him back.

It is a common refrain in negotiating that he who speaks first loses. Well, the just opened the bidding and after the intial shock we know what the number has to be as far as minimum.

We just might look at the guys on the field and last years class and say "too rich, not enough value". Just might say $10k is just our down payment.

But regardless, the real question is how bad do we want him. The money will be "found". If they, or Matthews, drive the number too high then fine - he can go try and get his draft stock up there.
