Seems like everything I find are skinny arse ribs, even Costco. I want something with some meat on the bone, not ribs that look like they came from a crackhead hog.

Maxwell's Market on Highland for meat. I'm not 100% they have ribs, but every steak I've had from there has been great.

Costco. But I look through all of them before I pick one out. Only had 1 skinny rack shoved in the middle of the 3 pack so far. I’ve probably bought 20 packs from there.

I usually don't have a problem finding good ribs at Walmarks.

Since they are sold one to a package you can go through and pick and choose the ones you want and as many as you want.

I find they always way over-butcher St. Louis style at Sam's, but the full Spares are always good

Costco. Every 3-pack I have bought has left me wondering what the frick they are feeding those pigs they are so stocky.

I normally just look at a grocery store. There may be a pack or two that look skinny but it’s never been an issue to sort through them.

Related story: A year ago, so many hogs were waiting to slaughter while the covid had processors on hold. When they finally did get back, they had so many hogs that needed processing, they were cutting cuts quick and with no care for trim. Normally, they cut the cuts properly and make sure they save the trim for sausage processors. But they needed to move fast so they didn’t worry about extra meat on the bones. Around September-December last year, ribs were so meaty.

I try to order online, sometimes Alexander’s has full spares but usually always have St. Louis cut. I don’t care for the 3 packs from Costco personally.
