Visiting in a few weeks. Places along the river walk or downtown to eat at. Also any sites to visit and see or entertainment.

Make reservations ahead of time for restaurants on the riverwalk. Was there a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday evening and looked for a place to eat for an hour. Crowded AF.

It’s not right on the river walk but walking distance away. Mi Tierra cafe y panderia. Fantastic Mexican food and desserts.

Iron Cactus on the Riverwalk. Tortilla soup is one of the best I've had.

There are some pretty places, but overall it's extremely touristy. My daughter also went to school there.

His list is good. It's add La Margarita...it's basically Mi Tierra without the bakery.
I'd also add
The Cove
Rosario's
Los Barrios
LuLus
Gunther House for a nice breakfast
Breakfast tacos almost anywhere. San Antonio has the best breakfast tacos of pretty much anywhere. Better than anywhere in Houston or Austin. It's their specialty!

For a great breakfast check our Magnolia Pancake Haus. Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Their Pancakes will change your life.

Check out the Pearl area, lots of cool restaurants and bars around there.
Also really good BBQ at Pinkerton's.
