I love this movie. Like Goodfellas, if I am channel surfing and this is on, i go no further. Not sure why. Not a Jamie Foxx fan at all

The amount of twist and turns in this movie that constantly have you scratching your head, the amount of planning he puts into executing his plan, it’s a brilliant plot with some amazing actors

Amazing movie but that one scene really bothers me, you know what scene I’m talking about

Love this movie UNTIL the final 5 minutes or so then it pisses me right to hell off

The way the film ended, you'd think the filmmakers thought the audience was on the side of Jamie Foxx. No. We were all rooting for Gerard Butler.

I need to see this one, but I haven't ever gotten around to it. I hear it's going to be biblical.

You can see a very clear line where the studio stepped in and ordered a different ending or there were reshoots after bad audience testing or something because the 3rd act is a completely different movie than the first two. Really weird

I wanna see the original version where Butler destroyed everyone at the end.

Speaking of actors in everything for a couple of years then disappearing. Gerard Butler

He still does a ton of movies. Atleast 1 blockbuster a year at this point.

Wasn't a fan, but didn't hate it. The ending was definitely forced, almost like they were worried if they didn't end it this way it would incentivize other people

I thought they did a really good job showing Gerard Butler's character being an ordinary, normal guy, but turns out to be an intelligent badass who would do fricked up shite, but he had his priorities straight.

There’s not even like a “breaking point” where the narrative leads you to start thinking that GB is the bad guy or has gone too far and needs to be stopped
They continue to entice you to root for this guy until the last like 10 minutes of the movie they give Jamie Foxx this weird slow mo “I finally did it!” Scene and some patriotic background music and call it a day. It’s jarring how much of a 180 they do with no build up
It would be like if you edited Oceans 11 but only edited the ending to have the police raiding Danny Oceans hideout while they looked at the water fountains and then gave Terry Benedict a tearful celebration with Julia Robert’s about overcoming the heist attempt

I wasnt expecting to like it but I really enjoyed Greenland. Though Im sure he cares very little about my opinion, I feel like Butler sold himself short by locking himself in with the Has fallen stuff.

I mean I don’t think he’s going to be winning oscars or anything, I think he’s happy to just do a disaster movie every year that nets him 50 mil and then frick around the other 9 months of the year
he’s one of like 3 actors left that prop up big budget movies that aren’t a comic book property or existing IP
