There is no lack of talent in the SEC. If we avoid Bama until the SEC Title or Playoffs, we will be completely fine.

It's pragmatic on one sense, avoid playing them twice. With the upcoming CFP playoffs, a 1 loss to LSU Bama makes the CFP under that scenario.
But if the SEC goes to PODs there is a chance LSU has to play them 3 times. play them as a regular season out of pod team. End up playing them in the SEC championship, and then they Make the CFP and play them again . Crap. The most likely way I would see that happening is if we split the first two games.
