Soon the NFL will be fining players and coaches for voting Republican.

According to ESPN.com, the league will fine unvaccinated players $14,650 for each violation of the league's COVID-19 protocols, such as not wearing a mask in areas where it is mandated to do so, or attending a crowded, indoor event
Find it interesting but unironic the NFL's flipping out over a hoax virus and being stricter on it than they are on sexual assault

Not that I’m saying the NFL has a great record on this stuff or anything, but what player has been fined less than 14k for sexual assault?

Unsure the point you're making/implying but I'm pretty sure the NFL's sexual assault policy doesn't include
quote:
daily testing, mask mandates, social distancing, limits on weight room capacity, can’t eat with teammates, bans on endorsement activities and more.
IDC who you are or where you are on this "issue" but this policy is completely insane compared to the NFL's sexual assault policy along with dumb fines

Well feel free to explain to me how they test for sexual assault or put in specific protocols to prevent sexual assault and the suspensions given for breaking those rules take care of the second part of that post as you aren’t allowed teammate contact, to be in the building, while suspended and you likely aren’t going to have a ton of endorsements to worry about

The NFLs current policy for sexual assault conviction begins at a 6 game suspension. That is by far a harsher penalty than any of the penalties listed from unvaccinated players breaking the NFLs protocols.
Also it’s a lot more complicated to set guidelines of punishment for a sexual assault case that goes through a lengthy legal process than it is to set guidelines for breaking COVID protocols. You’re being extremely obtuse to try to pretend otherwise

I love being right to the point you feel the need to utter nonsensical garbage like this which is irrelevant to my argument

These aren't "suspensions," these are actually existing rules meant to compel conformity in doing a rather unnecessary thing when we genuinely crunch the science and numbers but go on your merry way

Which is rarely ever assessed against players except for a couple of widely-publicized cases

Yeah I'm sure Zeke and Deshaun Watson's pocketbooks are really hurting with your subjective overhyping of the NFL's sexual assault penalty

Yeah I'm sure Goodell had a monster of a time levying that penalty against Zeke in spite of this "legal process" obstacle you speak of

Why even have a protocol for a fake virus which poses little to no risk to these individuals in the first place? Just theater.

I'm being obtuse? you're the one arguing a rarely-assessed 6 game suspension is more strict than rules and constant fines for the unvaccinated over a virus hoax :moon: :moon:

How is it irrelevant? You’re comparing the two things, which doesn’t make sense, but only when I do it, it’s nonsensical? That seems fair

I’m talking about the suspensions that result from a sexual assault conviction.
quote:

Because the players are rarely actually convicted in those cases. As a proud harborer of freedom, certainly you aren’t advocating for them to be punished by an allegation that hasn’t been proven in court, right?
I mean they punish you for that too, but I’m just curious.
This is my entire point about a sexual assault punishment being much much much much more complicated than this policy.
It’s also easier to enforce uniform violations than it is to hand down punishment for assault allegations. That doesn’t mean they are harsher against uniform policies than they are sexual assault
quote:
Yeah I'm sure Zeke and Deshaun Watson's pocketbooks are really hurting with your subjective overhyping of the NFL's sexual assault penalty
Zeke lost 560,000 in game checks for his six game suspension. He would have to violate those COVID protocols 40 times to match that income loss
Watson, which again has pending legal cases with no legal charges currently, has lost a massive amount of endorsement dollars due to the allegations. He would gladly rather deal with covid fines and regulations than staring down the barrel of a long NFL suspension, or in an even worse scenario for him, prison
quote:
Why even have a protocol for a fake virus which poses little to no risk to these individuals in the first place? Just theater.
You’ll notice I haven’t made any comments about if the policy is good or bad. It’s beside the point.
quote:

Again I think you have more of an issue with this countries legal system and handling of sexual assault cases and the quickness of that process than you do the NFLs policies on that.
And like I said from the beginning, the NFL has a terrible track record dealing with sexual assault cases, but at the same time your argument that small fines and regulations inside the building are harsher punishments than a minimum 6 game suspension for a guilty charge (and likely suspension for a simple allegation regardless of merit) is just completely ridiculous

Mask mandates and quarantines are simply tools of socialization. We are witnessing full-scale collusion among government, big pharma and woke corporations to punish those who are freely choosing not to be vaccinated. Those in power are testing us: to what extent will one group (the vaccinated) dehumanize and persecute the other (non-vaccinated) for failing to obey the establishment? They've gotten their answer, and don't think this will ever end.
