Interesting how these camp situations will play out since they'll be in direct competition with the schools' own camps.

And I got no problem with that. Some of this other BS with social media influencers and sham endorsements is crap.

What happens when some hottie female athlete sets up and Only Fans page...

yep, and I referenced that in an above post, once the LSU lawbaws start seeing this cut into the revenue stream you'll see the ban of using LSU licensed gear, SEC licensed gear, no use of LSU facilities(unless paid for, and doubtful about that) this is all about $$$

It won't be competition for LSU's camp. It may actually help LSU's camp.

you've got a few players that have never done anything like this before ganging together to make a few bucks and think it will be on par with camps that are established and run by experienced "professionals?"

Not at all. It won't compete with LSU's camp. Kids may be more drawn to LSU's camp bc of it.

you're assuming that these kids, the players I mean, are good at teaching and communicating and organizing an instructional camp? pretty unlikely, and the little kids? they go where the vicarious parents want them to be seen, by coaches, because they are all LSU prospects

Some of you idiots act like Tre is getting 100% of the revenue/profits. There will be several players and other officials running this camp. LSU will not be allowing use of their facilities as one poster indicated. This camp will be at Big Easy Sportplex in Elmwood (Metairie). The entrance fees will be split amongst several players, officials and Big Easy Sportplex. Perhaps Tre will get a larger cut, since his name is on it.

This seems like a great idea for the LSU baseball players to hold these in places like Shreveport/Bossier, Lake Charles, BR, Nola, etc. Get whatever LSU players from that part of the state along with the local college players from the smaller schools and it could be a great deal for these guys. Not to mention a cool experience for the kids.

this is shaping up to be the biggest fiasco and ripoff of the players in the history of ripoffs, the kids don't know shite from shinola, agents, businesses will give them the old razzle dazzle sales pitch..."don't you worry about a thing, we've got it all taken care of" we're talking about teenagers here, and as gifted athletes, probably not used to taking care of business for themselves

by just pointing out a few potential realities? I realize that the rant is no place for rational, fact based discussion but I'm just bored like the rest of us waiting on some sports

Yet guys younger than them are playing minor league and pro sports, fighting in wars or making tons of money on social media. Not doing or trying something because, “oh no something might go wrong” is a terrible mindset.

Well, you certainly are a wanna be Lester Earl.

Now LSU allowing Morgan to use an LSU logo is a fact to you. Also, Mulkey couldn't haven't possibly known that UT and OU may be pulling out of the Big 12 because WBB is insignificant, is a fact to you.

It's a Lester Earl clone, where he feels his opinions are so far superior to everyone else's, that they should be taken as facts.

I hope it all goes as Utopian well as you guys on here seem to think it will but we're talking capitalism, naive kids, greedy agents, corporations, IRS, etc., again, this board isn't the place for rational discussion, and I know that, just bored tonight, imo, we're about to see some wild shite with this new rule

honestly don't stay on this board enough to know what that analogy means, I've seen references to LE, but don't really pay attention to too much on this board, sorry if I've rustled some P&G jimmies

You want rational discussion, yet you keep projecting. Clutching the pearls and crying, “ think of the children” is sad.
