I thought the episode and this entire season have pretty much sucked.
I was drinking but was the ending to the episode him walking into a random church, and attached to said church is a kind of church nightclub, and in that nightclub is his chick (because of course she's in there), who is now into him again?
What the hell was that?

Yeah, I bailed on this one early on. Subsequent descriptions on here have confirmed this as the right move. It sounds like a 90's afternoon soap opera.

While they were texting, she sent him a text in front of the neon cross outside the church. Thats why he recognized it and went in. While he was praying, he heard noises coming from that way and he put two and two together about her being at a club and the picture.
