Sandhagen had a significant advantage with Dillashaw's knee and eye compromised and barely out hit him. Like, 2 more strikes per round to a guy who couldn't see out of one eye and had a popped knee. Sandhagen played it safe instead of trying to win the fight.

The control time was a significant advantage for Dillashaw and that's why he won.

They ended neck and neck on significant strikes, TJ just put in much more work with the leg kicks. TJ had him on heels most of the fight and had more control time.

Blood on his face doesn't mean he lost.

Agreed. It’s a fight. Sandhagen was not hurt, at all. TJ got fricked up and held Corys waist most of the fight. Cory won every metric of the fight except kicks. It’s bullshite.

Doesn’t help that the judges screwed up more than just the main event. Something needs to change.

It’s an opinion. Not rewriting anything. 95% of the folks watching think Sandhagen won.

He wasn't beat to hell up. he had a cut from training reopen during the fight. It happens. The fact that Sandhagen couldn't end this fight with that significant advantage should show you something.

Taking them straight from the Post Fight show. Hugging someone’s waist should not equal a win. frick off.

8:22 minutes of control time to 0:00. 2 takedowns to 0. It's MMA not kickboxing.

Just admit that sandhagen showed zero aggression and got controlled almost the whole fight by the much shorter man. How you let the shorter man push you around the cage all fight? With a terrible cut and a bad knee at that lmao.

After a fight like that anyone who claims robbery or any other definitive talk just shows me they don’t know the sport.

It could have gone either way by the narrowest of margins. Def not a robbery

No doubt. Sandhagen never had him in trouble at any point in the fight. I could see the argument had sandhagen dropped him twice or wobbled him a bunch of times, but nada.

Sandhagen was trying too much to counterstrike. He needed to finish off the wounded man.

But i still had Sandhagen winning. Dillashaw wasnt really doing anything to hurt Sandhagen. He was just trying to wrestle to a dominant position and stay there. I'm not a fan of that style but props to him for being tough and getting the win.

What about the point where Herb had to stop the fight to check with the doc to see if TJ could finish? You're not counting that as in trouble?

Did he hit the mat? Was he wobbly? He reopened scar tissue. If that was the case then I guess the Diaz brothers are in trouble with your judging.

Do you think the doctor was checking him for his mental state?

You say this
quote:

Sandhagen never had him in trouble at any point in the fight

And then you say this

quote:

sandhagen dropped him twice or wobbled him a bunch of time

I take that as him being in trouble. He had a great shot on him in round 2 I believe where tj was rocked and went for a takedown because of it.

The fight was 2-2 going into the 5th round. I thought sandhagen did enough in the 5th the win. Would be interested to see the stats broken down round by round.

You need to learn how to read tee
