quote:

We hire thousands of people every month, we can't ask for vaccination status or make hiring decisions based on vaccination status.

What we do is tell them if the customer they will be working for has a mandatory vaccination policy. Once they are onboarded, then they have to sign an acknowledgment of the policy and are subject to termination if they break it.

It's extremely inefficient, of course, we'd rather weed out those who aren't before we go through all the trouble to onboard them just to end up terminating them. But the law is the law and we have to follow it.

Don't take this personally but this is absolutely disgusting corporate behavior that is being allowed in this country.

Lawful or not.

I don't take it personally at all, I don't make the rules, I just have to live by them and make sure that everyone in my domain of control does so as well.

I'm not sure I understand what part of my statement was disgusting corporate behavior. We don't ask or base hiring decisions on vaccine status, but if a customer has a mandatory vaccine policy, we can't send our unvaccinated employees to that customer. We do everything we can to find something for that employee to do so we don't have to term them.

Its a methodology that costs us money, we aren't saving any money with this.

I'm in no way trying to argue with you, I've enjoyed the conversation. Help me understand why you say this is disgusting?
