They are here. And they have a clear, unambiguous message. Freedom.
Who here on this board is against that? Unlike the overt racism of BLM riots, which had no message other than destruction and looting.
Of course, I will say this. As long as it is peaceful and nobody starts rioting on American soil, I am 100% with the freedom loving Cuban protest.

Still not as much of a basket case as Puerto Rico.

Should have done that after the Spanish-American War.
After that war, we essentially acquired Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines and Guam. Politically, we enabled almost immediate Cuban independence, which was the right move at the time but wrong in hindsight.
We held the other three as territories, with the Philippines eventually being granted full independence after WWII in 1946.
We, of course, still hold Guam and Puerto Rico.

We should welcome those that love freedom, want to work and will pledge allegiance to America. In fact I'd like to trade out a few of our obnoxious socialists for them. Then everyone is happy.

Totally fine with the show of support but stop blocking roads

Protesters blocked a Miami expressway on Tuesday night to show support for those in Cuba fighting against the government.
The Palmetto Expressway was blocked for hours with police redirecting traffic, NBC Miami reported. The group chanted “Libertad” and waved Cuban flags.
Other protests in support of the Cuban people popped up in the Miami area, including at the restaurant Little Havana and at Tamiami Park.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) voiced his support for activists in Cuban on Tuesday.
“They are revolting against a corrupt communist dictatorship that has ruled that island with an iron fist for over 60 years, that is responsible for death and destruction, not just on the island of Cuba but really throughout the Western Hemisphere, with their actions supporting other Marxist regimes,” DeSantis said, according to NBC News. "These are people that fundamentally desire a fresh start. And they desire a free society.” LINK

I mean, I have no problem with them dragging traitorous politicians out of the State houses and Capitol and tar and feathering them in the public square.

He needs to be careful here. He just championed a state law against blocking roads while demonstrating or protesting. He should add that qualifier while still voicing support for the movement
