Go both ways on this.

Trump is not a good hill to die on in a "they got our leader Trump!" sense

But the powers of this country tirelessly pursuing an ideological enemy and arresting him after an unnecessary and bullshite investigation on bullshite charges is a good hill to die on

Regardless, the country is a long way from something resembling civil war. But presumably if it's ever on the horizon, there are going to be a lot of flare ups before things genuinely ignite, so that could happen with a Trump arrest.

I don’t know. The hate is real. What happens if there’s a Lexington moment?

Arrest Obama for Fast and Furious, or weaponizing the IRS, or falsifying documents to use FISA to spy on political enemies and see what happens. We are in a civil war now, but only one side is fighting.

Pay attention to what is going on. Red states are pushing back hard on the federal government. If they deploy a "national police", frick with the 2nd some more, try to punish Texas for the securing the border ect it will kick off in the next 5 years guaranteed.
