Wasn’t trying to nitpick. Just wanted to keep as many facts straight as possible.

Yeah no doubt they’re gonna try. But it’s all about motive to lie for the third party family member. They will have to establish one. We’ll see what they come up with.
Given the time frame of 18 months, it would not shock me if he had already been paying them under some arrangement, then quit or defaulted for some reason, and now shite is hitting the fan.

ETA: This is pure speculation.

I'm 100% on board with that, especially with allegations (accusations?) like this.

That would be incredibly easy to prove and possibly even make BM look more guilty.

For sure. Not saying he isn't guilty. Just a potential explanation for why it is just coming out.

It shouldn’t be hard to understand why a 13 year old may keep quiet about something like this.

The family member may not know anything happened and had no reason to say anything about anything. He could just be saying the truth when asked about who slept where.

The victim on the other hand said something in January. Appx 18 months after the incident. I have known people who were abused and that is actually a much shorter frame of time than I’ve seen.

Not passing judgment one way or the other, but that is certainly not evidence. And I’m actually surprised his attorney is bringing this up. I have known people who battled shite like this for years.

Some of you are trying way too hard not see the obvious. What grown man is going to take a couple of young boys out to play, shop and sleep over? This is disgusting.

Honestly, I’m just trying to stay impartial. My personal opinion is that he’s guilty. But I’m not letting that get in the way when looking at the presented evidence.

Well looks like I’m guilty if that is disgusting. I used to have relative that brought along a friend and stayed at our house. It’s trying to be father figure for fatherless relative.
Mingo could’ve been doing the same and for some reason the kids thought they deserve even more gifts since he was kind enough to do so that weekend and in their eyes a rich NFL player.
Guarantee he is always having family asking for money. It’s not uncommon. Then put a stop too it and they threaten him saying they will go to police unless he paid.
Teenagers can be evil. Family members feel entitled to wealthier relatives money.

That’s just one example of by no means am I saying it but people do crazy shite and some good people turn out to be pedophiles in reality.

But Mingo doing something for a relative and his friend then all staying together isn’t disgusting. If he did what the accusations say then yeah that’s disgusting.

Well, I've been around kids for a long time. Basketball coach, little league, church youth group outings, week long VBS. We had rules. You had to have a criminal background check, and watch some documentary on pedophilia. Then we learned never to be alone with any kid. Had to always have two adults. Pretty basic, common sense stuff. The relative factor makes this all the more troubling b/c Mingo obviously used their trust to sexually assault some poor kid. Sick

I'm sure it has been asked in this thread, but why did they need to stay in a hotel after going to six flags? Was it really far away?

Barring some massive conspiracy theory involving his 15 year old family member, this is pretty bad as it stands. Dude slept in the same bed as a 13 year old boy then lied about it to police. That after spending the day showering him with gifts and an amusement park. It ain’t looking good.
