Lee and Jackson Statues Coming Down in Charlottesville

It’s supposed to happen this weekend.
The City Council wants to melt them down after they’re removed.
I don’t know what they plan on doing with the pedestals. I suppose they might crush them.

Tearing down the statue of a US President is quite bold. This will only end when the people have decided they've had enough and put a stop to it

Wonder what they do with them. Thats quite an expensive piece of art, would be really cool to have as a centerpiece in someone's garden if you lived in a rural area with some land.
