I’ve been finding some animal (I hope) turds outside of my kitchen window. It’s about 4 inches long and appears to have hairs in it.
I don’t think it’s my dog as she always uses the backyard. These are in a flower bed where my ferns used to be…RIP from the freeze.
Ive also been seeing piles of feathers in my neighbors’ yards like some animal just obliterated a bird.
We have foxes, coyotes, opossum, raccoons, and geese in my neighborhood.
Any idea what animal this is from?

It's really hard to tell without tasting it.

Coyote and fox scat look essentially the same except for size but that is not a great indicator since it could be a small coyote poop or a large fox poop. It isn't big enough to rule out a fox based on the pictures.
