Re: pull out drawers. If y’all mean pull-out drawers inside cabinets, I’d say that drawers instead of cabinet doors are even more convenient. Our pantry does have slide out drawers behind cabinet doors, though.

ETA: We don’t need grab bars yet, but when we remodeled two bathrooms we had them installed in the tub and shower areas. You can find attractive ones that don’t look clunky. I regret that we didn’t follow a recommendation to have the walls by the toilets prepared for future grab bars should they become necessary.
