The OP didn't provide a link but I'm guessing that this is being done by New York state and the complete pieces of f*cking politicized FILTH that occupy the Manhattan D.A.'s office and the Attorney General's office.

And, I'm guessing that they are going after these people for something that NO ONE has EVER been criminally charged with like questionably excessive fringe benefits.

Of course, just like the Michael Flynn case where a Federal Judge said that they weren't trying to get Flynn to sing, but rather to compose (i.e., LIE) to save his own a$$, that is exactly what's going on here. They are going to try and pressure the CFO and accountants to tell LIES to save their own a$$es from felony charges using some complete BULLSH!T tax position that no one has EVER been criminally charged with.

And, more to the point, these are the types of issues that states NEVER EVEN LOOK AT. They simply follow the IRS/Feds lead in matters like this.

When it's all over, Trump should sue for a violation of his civil rights and look to criminally charge both Cyrus Vance and Letitia James for going on a politically motivated fishing expedition and looking to charge him and his executives for "crimes" that have no one has ever been charged with in the history of this country.
