Under 150 or somewhere around that. I like microsoft's and google buds. What am I missing. I do not want airpods.

Jabra Elite 75t is probably the bang for your buck at $150. If you want to try something cheaper first, the Skullcandy Sesh are actually pretty solid for $40.
I just bought a pair of the Pixel Buds A-series for $99 and while I have only used them twice, they sound pretty decent. Pairing is very intuitive, no noise cancelling and no wireless charging. Battery life is good and they're very comfortable to wear.

Earfun Air Pro for $72
Got these for $63 on Prime Day. So far so good. Good sound quality and pretty good noise cancellation.

I've tried about everything out there, within reason. IMO, the best bang for buck in sound quality if you don't care about noice cancelling is the Master and Dynamic MW07 Go. They're also some of the best fitting and looking buds I think. Can be found for 150ish on sale.
With the XM4s coming out for Sony, I suspect the XM3s would probably get my vote for best all around in the 150-200 price range if you do want NC.

Ended up getting these at Best Buy (not on Amazon). Very light. Music is clear. 5/5 so far. $99.
