Since it only leaked when running and not before or after I think it is oil and not lower unit gear lube.
I had a gear lube leak two years ago and it was a slow, steady drip in my garage.
I mix 11 ounces of oil in 4 gallons of gas. It this to much?

That's about 1 oz too rich for a 50:1 mix.

That's going to depend on the ratio of the oil that you use, and what your motor calls for. You can probably find the right mix online. If it's cranking fine and not fouling plugs or gumming up your carb, I would stick with what you are doing.
