Well don't vaccines actually give you a little bit of any virus...so your body can develop immunity?

You don’t test positive for flu after getting the vaccine, do you? So it’s either a flaw with the vaccine or a flaw with the test.

Traditional vaccines do.
mRNA vaccines induce the body to make proteins resembling specific parts of the virus, so the immune system responds. Then if you're exposed to the real virus you already have antibodies, which will say "I thought we told you guys!"

Nope, not this one. And the media has been running with this dumb idea for months.
It causes your body to react to the spike protein on the virus.

Every dumbass Tom, Dick, and Harry out there proclaims themselves arbiters of medical knowledge.
And they don’t even think through their positions before spouting them off.
If that were the case, why test the vaccinated individuals?
How can you make a determination between the vaccine and an infection then?
Social media has made people retarded.

quote:From what I've read it is not like the flu vaccine (the expected virus culture inside eggs) but a new experimental vaccine that "teaches" your cells how to respond to the Kung Flu. I believe this new type of vaccine process has been in the works for years to minimize the number of jabs required throughout life. I got fully vaccinated back in March. I knew the risks and they were lower than the risks of Corona. (I did get sick the next day but was fine on Day 2.) However it is a choice for the individual.

The vaccine risks for the athletes are damn close to the risk of severe Corona symptoms. It is a personal choice and if they are asymptomatic then force them to wear masks and use their own set of balls (home plate umpire wears plastic gloves handling their balls) while telling both teams not to talk to each other on the bases/at the plate. All of that is better than what they did. This is virtue signaling and Tillis/Burr should be calling for hearings into the highly corrupt NCAA. This may be a blessing in disguise a you now have 3 (SEC/ACC/Big 12) of the Power 5 getting screwed by them. Maybe this and the playoff structure/TV contract renegotiations will form the perfect storm to end the NCAA as the controlling body for the teams that matter.
If you're someone who says "well they should have gotten vaccinated to avoid testing so this wouldn't happen", frick YOU. If this is truly about safety then refund the ticket money and only allow the players' family's +2 guests into the stadium. But of course we know the only thing the NCAA cares about is the money (hence that joke of a March Madness.)

That's not how this vaccine works.
