Interesting..I didnt know interstate cameras were scanning and making a record of drivers plates as they pass.

Oh yeah, ALPR cameras are all over the place. Many parishes have their own on State highways and Parish roads. Not to mention mobile license plate readers as well.

You'd be surprised how may LPRs (License Plate Readers) you pass by and are scanned/catalogued each day.

Yes. Not just interstate but major intersections in Baton Rouge have them.

The largest cities in La. that have interstate access have license plate reader cameras installed on the rear of certain interstate exit signs. Ever wondered why there are solar panels at random spots along the interstate?
