I'm more worried about the contract Woody gave him hopefully it's nothing bad because this guy will get 3 yrs max to bring us to CWS

i am very underwhelmed. I dont think a west coast lifer is going to do well here

He hired the 7th best coach in Omaha this year (8th best, if the NCST coach wins it all). Extremely mediocre and very disappointing compared to his previous hires.
No ties to the region, offense entirely reliant on an assistant who may not come.

Only thing "dumb" here is celebrating this hire.
Could we have gotten Corbin? Probably not. But Vitello, Godwin, O'Connor would all have been easy and better hires.
Just very disappointing when we knew for months that PM was done this year.

was not LSU’s first choice, but I believe SW hired who he thought would help bring LSU back to Omaha to win national titles. Best of luck to you Mr. Johnson.
