re: Dodgers: Astros’ contact stats starting to look extremely fishy again

They follow in the bitch made shoes of Dave Roberts. Perpetual victimhood. Remember light gate this year? A partial bank of lights went out and came back on at Minute Maid and Roberts was going on in post game about how he didn't know if it was intentional but it was poor gamesmanship.
shite its almost like in an era where rosters are built around strikeouts and home runs, the Astros built their roster around contact hitters. Weird.

The Houston Astros have an MLB-leading 81.2% contact percentage. It's their highest contact percentage since 2017, when it was also 81.2%.

It would be pretty funny if they were cheating again and gave no fricks.
I mean... why not?! MLB has proven that the reward is certainly worth the risk.

What's funny is that only Altuve, Correa, Bregman, and Gurriel were on that 2017 team.
They've added Brantley, who has a career 90.9% contact rate.
Kyle Tucker is up, his contact rate is 79.8% for his career and 81.7% so far this season.
Yordan Alvarez is at 77.8% for his career.
And then there's future MVP Myles Straw, with a career 88.4% contact rate and up to 89.9% this year.
It's almost like this is something that the Astros value in their hitters, and in the case of Tucker, Alvarez, and Straw, instill in them at lower levels.

Two things can be true at the same time:
1. Astros are good this year. I'm an Oakland A's fan. I don't like the Astros. But there's no denying they are solid right now and that's why they're in first place.
2. Everyone would hate the Astros and their fans less if they stopped with the bullshite eVeRyOne wAs DoInG iT. No. If they were, I GUARANTEE you someone would've found similar videos as the undeniable trashcan banging videos and the evidence of the tv/computers in the tunnel that convicts the Astros.
Also, stop with the everyone steals signs. Yes, everyone steals signs. Only the Astros were caught using someone explicity against the rules, a camera in the outfield and a viewscreen adjacent to the dugout. Everyone was warned about it and the Astros continued and were caught.
Even then, they weren't punished. So stop with the bullshite and enjoy your "piece of metal".
And finally, frick Manfred. Thank you for coming to my TED rant.

That's just not true.
The Astros might have been the only team banging trash cans, but they weren't the only team using cameras and screens.

Also not true. The players weren't punished, but the organization definitely was.

Dodgers still have sour grapes we won the big enchilada on their own field

We win when we cheat, and we win when we don't. We're just straight winners my friends. Let them keep hating and whining.

I am referring ethically flexible franchise like the dodgers, yankees and Red Sox when I say “everyone was doing it”. One got caught, yankees have plenty of smoke and the dodgers have proven themselves flexible like I said.
The only difference between the Astros and the rest of the league is a rat

I have my 2017 champ shirt... and if we win in 2021, I'll have another.
