It was already known that Drew fricked us on the way out. As good as he was, and we should all be thankful for the years he gave us and the SB....... he flat out fricked us playing with that injured noodle arm when we could be on our way to back to back SBs. Brees is such a beta compared to Brady.

I mean, we were one Jared Cook fumble away from being up 13-17 points late in the game against Tampa and going 3-0 on them this season and changing the entire Tom to Tampa Bay narrative. Obviously what Drew did after that fumble wasn’t great. A couple plays looked like miscommunication and at the end, desperation was a factor as well. Whole thing just snowballed. Happens sometimes. That’s why upsets happen a lot in the nfl playoffs. It’s sudden death and sometimes things just don’t go your way.
I don’t blame Drew. Blame the defense in 2010, 2011, 2017. Blame the refs in 2018. Blame the entire team minus Taysom Hill in 2019. Blame J Cook for 2020. Blame Payton for wasting several years being addicted to pills. Blame Loomis for several years of horrible free agent decisions. Blame the scouting department for several years of asinine drafts. Drew was the one consistent thing about our franchise. It’s just a damn shame that our overall franchise wasted so many years of prime Drew and really didn’t get their overall act together until 2017. By then Drew was not quite himself and we additionally were dealt with a lot of unlucky blows that resulted in us not ultimately getting the job done when we finally had the front office, coaching, and roster to do it.
