Can you read? I was referring to people who are not training for an event, yet still call it training. You're about as dumb as you are douchey.

It's just such a weird thing to be peeved over

you can "train" specific muscles/movements without doing it for an event

I do BJJ and call it training even when I’m not actively training for a competition. Should I refer to Jiu jitsu as working out when I don’t have a competition coming up, but training when I do? Kinda weird that you’re so hung up on this

“Working out” has evolved into a phrase to describe a specific type of casual lifting for the purpose of hypertrophy. I wouldn’t call cycling, Olympic lifting, MMA, BJJ, or any other sport like that “working out”
