You know who also followed directions? Philando Castille. He was then murdered.

"Philando Castile was not resisting or fleeing."
"There was absolutely no criminal intent exhibited by him throughout this encounter."
"He was respectful and compliant based upon the instructions and orders he was given."
"He volunteered in good faith that he had a firearm – beyond what the law requires."
"He emphatically stated that he wasn't pulling it out."
"His movement was restricted by his own seat belt."
"He was accompanied, in his vehicle, by a woman and a young child."
"Philando Castile did not exhibit any intent, nor did he have any reason, to shoot Officer Yanez."
"In fact, his dying words were in protest that he wasn't reaching for his gun"

I thought he kept putting his hands down like he was reaching for something?

No. He didn't.

I have a CHP/CCP and I know that in any encounter with an LEO (where it's an LEO encounter [i.e., my interaction with him is because he's an LEO, not that we happen to be next to each other in the check-out at the grocery store]), IF I AM CARRYING, I am to advise him I have a permit, and I am carrying, AND THEN DON'T DO OR SAY A frickING THING UNTIL HE TELLS ME WHAT HE WOULD LIKE FOR ME TO DO.

Usually, I am only asked where I am carrying and it ends there; however, they have the right under the law to secure my weapon while the interaction takes place.

Despite all that, IF I MAKE ANY MOVE THAT IN ANY WAY GIVES THE OFFICER AN OUNCE OF CONCERN, I know he can light my arse up.

PC did that. Multiple times. His intent was irrelevant, as were his statements he wasn't reaching for it.

PC would be alive today if he would have sat quietly with his hands on the wheel of his car and followed the commands of the LEO to the letter.

Twice as many unarmed white people shot and killed by police on an annual basis than black people. Philando Castille ain't that special, no matter how much black people and white guilt liberals think he is. And he was actually armed. frick all of you.

Well by all means, govern based on anecdotal evidence. Surely nothing can go wrong…
