I like the youth of Vitello when you compare to all the old farts names being put forward for the LSU baseball coach job.
I also don’t think a new coach would not want to pick his own assistant coaches and not have the good OL boy second guess team in the Doug out!

Yeah I’m not convinced LSU has Vitello at 1 or 2 on their list, but there’s no way Vitello turns down a destination CBB job.
He’s gone the first time LSU or Arky or Texas offers, if that ever happens.

Basilio show is good. I tune in every now and then as an LSU fan and that was way before this Vitello thing.

Unfortunately I think you are right. He has always said he wants to build his own thing though, which is what a lot of TN fans are hanging on to

One of our local media guys that I would NOT put my bottom dollar on...actually I wouldn’t with any of them...said last week that he’s heard that TV would never tell LSU no, ever...that’s pretty much a quote but again I wouldn’t put a lot of weight behind it or lose much sleep bc of it.
