I guess it took Shaq ripping into him, in order to validate what myself and others said when he was still here.

"But the stats!"

Empty numbers. The games were all about getting his numbers, he turned the ball over a gazillion times, and couldn't make his free throws nearly well enough for the amount of times he forced himself to the rim and got bailed out with fouls.

Shaq isn't saying anything that's particularly enlightening to me, but at least he's making all of the Simmons defenders eat crow, since they won't question anything coming from him.

This

When it’s crunch time or the playoffs, Simmons can’t be found.
But he sure can put up the stats in January against the Bobcats or the Pistons.

No he isn't.
When you are a team of Shaq, Chris Jackson,
Stanley Roberts, Wayne Sims, Geert Hammink, Maurice Williamson, and Vernel Singleton, and can't win a Regional, it's embarrassing to criticize someone else's shortcomings.

???

Ben Simmons turnovers per game at LSU: 3.4
Tremont Waters: 3.2
Chris Jackson: 3.6

Ben Simmons: An unforgivable turnover machine.
Chris Jackson and Tremont Waters: I guess also unforgivable turnover machines?

Ben Simmons career TS%: 60%
Tremont Waters: 55%
Chris Jackson: 54%

Ben Simmons: Forced himself to the rim too many times and got bailed out
Tremont Waters and Chris Jackson: I guess also wasted a bunch of possessions?

If you don't like stats that's fine, but if you want to try to bring them up it would help if you had some understanding of them.
