Odds of LSU @ South Carolina being a night game

Mates,
What are the odds that ESPN or ESPN2 picks up LSU @ USC and makes it a night game?
Has CBS really locked in this game at 2:30? lsusports.net says otherwise.
I'm considering a Tigers/Saints road trip for this weekend, but only if LSU beats the Barn on the 20th.

Where are you guys flying in/out of? Just curious. I'm using some SWA Rapid Reward passes and I'm going out of Raleigh/Durham, making the 3 hour drive to Columbia, then up to Charlotte. It makes a perfect circle and winds up not being so inneficient.
If we lose to Auburn I'm probably going to cancel though, because I don't want to risk spending this effort and money heading out there to see a 2-loss LSU team that is all but eliminated from SEC contention.

you are WRONG....don't post unless you have accurate info. !!!!!

Do you happen to know how far the Panthers stadium is from Downtown Charlotte?
Is there much to see/do in downtown Charlotte? I know it's a painfully new city so probably not a whole lot there except for a PF Changs or something, but hopefully I'm wrong.

CBS will pick this game up unless both teams lose a few games between now and Oct. 6th.

90% chance the lsu-SC will be on CBS ... just look at the other SEC games that day, the only other one that looks like it could possibly have any intrigue is Bama-Ole Miss:
Oct. 18
Ole Miss at Alabama
Arkansas at Kentucky
Vanderbilt at Georgia
LSU at South Carolina
Mississippi State at Tennessee
OPEN: Auburn, Florida

If Vandy and Georgia continue to win they might make it on CBS, which would put us on ESPN

Charlotte's downtown is very nice on game day (i did the saints/panthers game in 03). The street I've been there also not on a game day and its nice, but not too many people walking around. IMO not much to see.

i was just about to say that same thing. vandy could very well be 6-1 heading into that game. how crazy would that be.

I have a buddy who is a Carolina alum and lives in Columbia. Due to the fact that the SC state fair is going on that same weekend, USC wants a night game but they are at the mercy of the TV tyrants. He said word on the street is a 3:30 PM (2:30 CDT) kickoff, but it hasn't been officially confirmed yet.
