Consumer reports top model is GE GFC1020N -

Those are the only two they recommend, Moen is a best buy.

Third best is InSinkErator Evolution Compact. Not a recomended model.

Consumer Reports is garbage, reviews by and for the simpletons. That "top" rated model only has some parts in the grind chamber made of stainless steel, the top model Insinkerator's have 100% stainless steel components. The #1 thing that fails in garbage disposals after shaft seals are the grind chambers after corrosion due to acidic/caustic foods and cleaning agents. Same with the Moen, galvanized steel is only marginally better than untreated steels used in economy models.

ISE is still the gold standard for disposers. I wouldn't play with any other brand.
