Universal studios question

We are heading to the parks tomorrow and I’m having some concerns with the universal app. I’ve been messing around with these “virtual line reservations” and when I click on it in the app the only thing that’s showing up is the Jimmy Fallon ride. Are the other rides not showing up because I have to be on the property ? I deleted the app and re downloaded it and still the same. Trying to sort this out before I get to the park in the morning. Any help appreciated. Thanks

When an attraction gets too stacked, they will transition from traditional line to a virtual line as needed. At that point, the app will reflect it and you can get a time slot. They really only use virtual lines for a handful of rides. Otherwise it’s either Express or normal.

The express line queues open at different times periodically throughout the day and you won't know what rides are available until then....sometimes Hagrid is on it, others time it isn't.
Unlike Disney as well, everyone in your party can have the app and everyone can make reservations so if you and the wife both have the app BOTH of you can reserve spots for you guys and you can either pick the same or different attractions.
Like I said though....Virtual Line Passes are released throughout the day. Check 15 minutes prior to park open, at park open, and at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. for more passes.

I appreciate it. The only thing they’ve had a virtual reservation for all day is jimmy fallon. We did velocicoaster with early park access and it was awesome. We waited in a regular line for hagrid. It said a 90 min wait but it was only about an hour.

What time did you get to IoA to get in line?
Were staying at Portofino on July 3 (8am opening) and I am thinking of walking over at 6:30 to get in line and have the family come meet me about 7:15. Velocicoaster is our top priority...well, that and Cowfish for dinner the night before.

How were the lines? How busy was the park. I'm going at the end of August.

Damn...spend all that 'vacation money' for an OVER-PRICED amusement park 'experience'...and then spend the bulk of your time in line and/or paying for park food/drink/crappy souvenirs for the kiddies..lol

I guess we were in line to get in around 745 or so. Went straight to velocicoaster and was on the ride in 10 mins. It was nuts. Very fun but pretty scary for me. Lol. Not sure if I’ll do it again. I def wanna do hagrids again though.

How are the lines. ?
Pretty long but we have the fast passes. I never waited more than 20 mins for anything that accepts the express pass. I wouldn’t do these parks without one. Would seem pointless to spend the $ to only have time for 5 or 6 rides all day.

People post opinions/questions/comments here 'asshat'...sorry I hurt your delicate feelings JACKASS !

He called you an asshat because you were acting like an asshat. That is what the OT is for.

You are an asshat. This thread is a question/info thread about universal studios. If you hate universal then this thread isn’t for you. Find another one to be a douchebag in.

someone obviously was touched by spider-man in his no no area when he was young. Just because you have scars doesn't mean everyone hates the place. Go post in the OT where trolls like you are plentiful.

Every time we do it we just all stand in the single rider lines. Never have bought a fast pass and barely wait in lines. Most of the Hogwarts doesn't accept the fast pass and everything else we like to ride has single rider.

Single rider lines
That’s def one way to do it.
I’m currently under our umbrella at volcano bay being extremely amused by all the people freaking out and running for cover bc of a little rain…. At a water park.

Pro Park tip: when it rains go to Dr. Seus ride, it's all inside, lasts about 5 min and is A/C lol.
Same with ET ride in Disney. Both never have lines and cold AF

Have y'all been to Disney yet? Curious what your experience there will be like.

I thought cowfish was overrated and too pricey. My wife enjoyed it though. I did enjoy the chocolate emporium place though.
