Just looked it up. National average is over 42%. Yikes!


What often goes unsaid is that the overweight rate is about the same as the obesity rate.... meaning that less than 20% of Americans are a healthy weight.... and that's not yet taking out the few % that are underweight.

What often goes unsaid is the BMI way of determining obesity leaves a lot to be desired. By their measurements I was borderline obese when I was in the military. I have high single digits body fat % at the time. I was by my height (6-2) borderline obese at 245 but it was over 90% muscle.
