Many say it is when Luke and Vader fight in Empire for the first time, when Vader later reveals that he is in fact his father.

But I have to say, Ahsoka and Vader on Malachor has to be my favorite. Vader dropping in on top of his TIE fighter to kick everyone's arse was pretty awesome. It was good to finally see Ahsoka and Vader battle it out after the huge gap we were left with after the Clone Wars ended.

Close second would be Maul and Qui-Gon...

I like Obi Wan and Anakin in revenge of the sith

Edit: And general Grievous looked cool with all of his sabers vs Obi Wan

. I was going to pop in and nominate this. The whole Twilight of the Apprentice series was incredible. Definitely the best parts of Rebels or Clone Wars IMO.

I thought Obi Wan and Anakin’s duel was pretty awesome.

This. I'm going through Rebels for the first time and it's great. I had a friend encourage me to watch the Clone Wars series and I loved it. So I just rolled into Rebels when I finished.

Probably the greatest Vader line was from that episode as well.
When Ezra says "I'm not afraid of you"
Vader replys, "then you will die braver than most".

This one for me. It was such a great scene. The score, the choreography. One of the few positives in that terrible film.

Anakin vs. Obi Wan

Maul vs. Qui Gon and Obi Wan is a close second. They had to reshoot it and slow it down because it was originally too fast.

I think you have to have a separate animated vs. live action distinction.

Another top one is Ashoka vs Maul on Mandalore. It is animated but used live action actors for the movements. This and the background of the impending rise of the empire and fighting over Anakin, who we know is about to fall to the dark side.

It is very short, but Obi-Wan’s final dual with Maul is perfect.

Obi-wan vs. Anakin is probably #1 for me. It’s very emotional, plus the choreography was good.

Damn near every young Padawan would have jutted him like a fish with that sloppy arse roid rage form.

I’ll throw Palps v. Savage and Maul into the ring as well.

If animated is allowed, the cinematic trailers from The Old Republic are awesome

Yoda vs Dooku. When Yoda pulls out his lightsaber and drops his cane, I just about came out of my theater seat. It wasn’t a very long fight but it was a moment everyone had always wanted to see.

I got the same feeling when Darth Vader destroys all the rebels in the hallway in Rogue One. It was just something we always wanted to see.

I really wish Disney would green light an Old Republic series or trilogy. There’s so much more time line to explore than just the 60 years or so between episodes 1-9

They did Vader right in RO. Too bad they didn’t do the same with Luke in the ST. Damn Rian Johnson.
