Any posters playing in the 4 ball this weekend? It’s been a couple years since I’ve played TPC, obviously haven’t played it since being redone. Playing a practice round tomorrow. I expect the greens will be firm and fast. Course looked the exact same being there during the Zurich.

I've never found the greens to be overly firm at TPC. I'm sure they'll have some speed to them. The celebration bermuda in the green surrounds is usually perfect. Like chipping off carpet.

They used to be very receptive, I just assumed since they’re new they’ll be firm but maybe not.

I played the week after the Zurich. They were blazing fast, but not super firm. No problem with shots not holding.

They're just under 2 years old now. Past that "firmness after being redone" point.

I’ll be out there. Tee off around 1230.
Played practice round today.
Course in mint shape. Just unbelievable.
Greens rolling great. Not super quick but definitely not slow.
And greens just the right firmness. Not too firm but receptive. Spun 3-4 back 8-10 foot on a wedge in. Should be a fun weekend.

I thought the greens were thin in spots. I don't think it'll really affect play, but just surprising since they're brand new. Rest of the course was very nice though. Agree, should be a good weekend.

Wow course changed big time in a day. Firm as hell. Played 3-5 strokes harder from Friday no doubt. Good challenge

16 under 2 day 4 ball would be top 30 if pga tour had 2 day 4 ball with 90 teams. Ain’t no doubt. That’s legit shooting. They got 3 holes left too. Noto partner is the real deal too
