Did they call it and give rd 1 leaders the win?

Yes. Last year we were told that it would be a 27 hole event if everyone completed 27 but not 36. Surprised they didn't do that this year too. Forecast was always suspect this afternoon. It was too fricking hot to tell everyone they just wasted their day coming out today.

16 under 2 day 4 ball would be top 30 if pga tour had 2 day 4 ball with 90 teams.

That's a ridiculous score. Several holes were being played from the back tees where the PGA Tour players play as well. There were some with tees moved up too, but it's still a crazy good score.

What did the leaderboard look like when play was stopped?

Noto/Christovich had a 4 shot lead with 4-5 holes to play.

Yea sucks for those guys because they were lapping the field. I for one was actually I didn’t have to finish our round because we were playing terrible!

They absolutely screwed Noto and christovich. Why they didn’t take the 9 holes on the second day is beyond me. Christovich had 4 or 5 birdies by himself on the front 9 lol. I teed off around 1 on Saturday and i barely made it through my round. It was brutal outside.

Yeah, I realized that after I made the post yesterday. Only thing they could do was go back to Saturday.

It does suck but I’m pretty sure everyone knew that it would be reduced down to just 18 holes when that lightning came in. We had a couple holes left but didn’t hang around long because it was apparent they were going to have to cancel the second round. If one team finishes the round, all teams must finish the round for that round to count.

Seems like the leader side of the bracket should have been on same 9 for second round to where you could feasibly make 27 ….

Or is it that no matter what - it’s whole field or nothing ?
