It was an insulting response. I’m not a bleeding heart liberal, and I certainly believe people need to be responsible for their actions, but this was just a dumb thing to say.

The students all have below failing English scores and a few of them probably can’t read. Too bad if you’re insulted.

Have you ever worked in an innercity school? Because it is an eye opening experience.

Schools were a lot better when we were able to stupid shame people. Lazy and incompetent people deserved to be shamed.

I agree. It was also extremely warranted.

What was more insulting is these kids don’t have a chance because the “adults” that should be raising them are more interested in playing the race/victim card instead of acknowledging the cold, hard truth and taking fricking responsibility for the “community” they claim to support.
