This baseball season…and movie

Trying to compare similarities of this baseball season and was thinking about what movie I have seen and the first one that I thought of is “Marley and Me”.
Puppy = start of season
House breaking = NonConf weekends
Hyper ness = SEC Play
Elder years = Current play (SEC tourney and let night)
And the ending…

Reminds me of Brando’s character Don Corleone in The Godfather. Gets shot early and takes the whole movie to suffer and die.
