You have the right herbicide to use for VBW, etc. this time of year, Celsius, or MSM Turf is good as well, and to get the most benefit from those herbicides, yes use surfactant (I.e., spreader/sticker). You can find this at most retail garden centers, hardware stores, but not the big box stores.

Thanks, CrawDude. Is MSM Turf okay to use this time of year and for spot treatment through the summer?

I have used this with great succeed.

OP
Check your yard for Sod Webworms. I swear those things are in league with the VBW. The webworms eat the good grass and VBW grows right in its place.

I have chamber bitter and VBW popping up right now.

I used the winter cocktail mix a couple months ago, so I have WeedFreeZone in the garage. Since temps are in the 85+ range now though, I was planning to pick up Celsius this week and spray that instead of the winter cocktail.

Should I combine Celsius and WFZ (with surfactant) or stick with one over the other?
