For anyone who put in for Colorado tags...

Antelope, Bear and Deer tags and charges have already hit. Elk charge hit my card tonight but will probably show up tomorrow.
Anyone planning to come out west for any archery or rifle big game? What'd you draw?

I took a muley PP, but I haven't gotten the email for the elk tag to see which of my choices I got. All I know is that $56.88 has already hit. Anxiously waiting

I put in for mule deer and elk. Waiting to see if I get the tags.
Well just checked my email. I was charged for my moose preference point and was notified that I was unsuccessful for my mule deer tags. Unknown in elk, but my area has an unlimited amount of over the counter tags so I’ll be hunting elk regardless.
Edit #2: Cow elk draw was successful in GMU 25 and 26!!

Everything I’ve read said Wyoming takes 3-4 to be successful. I’m just starting out and hoping to get lucky

Got my archery bear tag in the elk unit I applied for. Elk results should be today. Gained another deer PP

It’s getting ridiculous. I took a long shot on my first choice (90% with 0 pts) so i won’t be heartbroken if I have to go to unit 18 for 1R. The revenge ration after last years burn should be gooood.

Update, got my first choice. Unit 46 second rifle. Never hunted it before, super excited to go explore this summer

I used to think the same thing but I've gotten an Elk tag for the last 3 years. I'll let you in on a "scam", Wyoming has a standard and special elk tag with the difference being money. If you buy the special tag for about $4-500 more then your chances go way up.
The politics in Wyoming are just as crooked as they are here or anywhere else.
