I am gluing some wood guides in my daughter’s trunk to make dividers. What is a strong glue to hold them in place? It will be wood on wood. Thanks.

How old is your daughter before I decide which joke to make?

Any good "yellow glue" also know as wood glue.
Elmer's comes to mind.

Weldwood or Gorilla. Both are quality products.

The old Elmer's white glue is essentially the same thing

Titebond is my go-to, but for something like this that won't really see any load, any wood glue would be enough.

Any PVA (yellow wood glue) will do but you will need to clamp them in place to get a strong bond especially if you are using no mechanical fasteners. I prefer Titebond II but if you need longer assembly time than 3-5 minutes then Titebond III. You will need about 150 or so pounds per square inch to get a proper bond, higher if it is hardwood. Something like that I would generally use 23g pins.
