I mean, if Dallas offered Porzingis straight-up in exchange for Bledsoe and Adams, I guess I'd think about it. Our bad contracts for your bad contract? Maybe.

I agree, but our D would actually get significantly worse with that deal. And I’m as low on Bled as anyone, but Porzingas is just atrocious on defense.

I guess the only reason why you wouldn’t do that is if you couldnt use their contracts to aggregate salary for someone better. I would also throw in a first and a second or two in that deal. People have really begun to underrate Porzingis. I think people forget the night he dropped 40 on Adams head just a few months ago. If you watch Dallas, Luka controls the ball 99% of the game, so Porz’s offensive game has been really minimized and marginalized and that is why he hates it there.

Porz is a good player and if the only thing we did this offseason was trade Adams, Bled, 10, and a second to Dallas for Porz and a future first, as well as run it back with Zo and Hart, I think our team would be tremendously improved. Getting rid of Bled and Adams are additions by subtraction and Porz is a guy who can drop 30 any given night, space the floor and protect the rim (Just 1-2 years ago I remember several 5 plus block Porz games. Sure his defense isn’t great, but he’s better than Adams at this point, especially when Porz gets further removed from his meniscus surgery.

After what Griffin said that's a burning down SKC level type of trade.
