I'm taking the family to the softball regional this weekend. My 10 year old daughter is a softball player and is going to love it. I have never been to a game at Lady Tiger Park so I was looking for some do's and don'ts regarding the game day experience. (Where to park? Concessions, Beer? View from section 107? etc) Thanks in advance!

They were letting you bring a one bottle of water per person. I would check to see if that’s still a thing. You will be over the 3rd base dugout. If it’s the opponents give em hell. If you drink soft drinks they offer a free refill with the large. I don’t eat there cuz concessions suck and lines will be long

It’s not a football game.
You can get in the parking lot by the stadium 15 before the game.
Any of the 3 levels of the berm is fine.
$8 bottomless bucket of popcorn is the best value.

Bottomless popcorn hasn’t been an option this season.

Concessions, Beer?

Why do you need beer? Set a better example for your kids at the ball park. Get them concessions like a good dad even if the lines are a little long.

These are shared moments with your little ones they will remember so make it memorable.

Bring a blanket/towel if you plan on sitting out on the berm. The kids love being out there cause they can have potential to retrieve a home run ball.

Wow!!So drinking a beer at the game is setting a bad example for the kids? What a loser. You judging people for drinking is alot worse than someone drinking a beer. I don't ever get mad over someone's comment but that comment really bothered me. Tell me where you're sitting and I'll come drink a case sitting beside you. I bet you never played a sporty in your life if I had to guess you were a beater or blower in the band

how will the kids learn to drink before/during/after games if someone doesn't show them how it's done?

Its a fun atmosphere now that they are letting more people in she will enjoy it.

You can buy bleacher tickets or chairback tickets but we usually sit on the outfield berm and the kids can walk around and you have a great view. Not sure if they still let you bring lawn chairs but we always have when we sit in the berm area. It is a very nice softball stadium.

Hope you enjoy.

Was gonna go but heard the NCAA requires masks so that won’t be happening. Not wearing a mask outdoors. Let me know when the virtue signaling is done.

Yes, I think your daughter would enjoy it much more on the outfield berm.

If you're not from the Baton Rouge area, maybe hit up Chimes or TJ Ribs just because LSU, and also because concessions are mediocre. You can go to the bookstore on Highland, then make your way to the sports shop next to Mike's Habitat, and end your trip by going to Tiger Park, if you feel like making the walk.

Torchy's Tacos isn't an "LSU spot" but it's next to the Habitat intersection and DAMN good.

I really don't think they can police 2000 people wearing masks. Get a few tickets and go hang out in the bleachers behind the fence or the terrace and enjoy
