It would prevent hoarding and provide means for the most desperate among us to have access to supply.

This made sense to you?

A single mother with 3 kids, buys gas at $2.55 to go to work everyday. Without warning a pipeline goes down. Immediately every station in town goes to $10 to curb hoarding.

Guess what? The most desperate among us cant shell out $10 for gas, while she waits for the pipeline to come back on line. Her kids dont eat very well, if she does that

Thank you for proving my point

Now the single mom has no way to get to work and she doesn't get paid because she's hourly and instead of staying afloat with higher prices she is in the hole while she's stuck without gas.

I can make up emotional scenarios on a whim, too.

Your desperate single mom can maybe only afford a third of a tank with gouging, and maybe she can still get to work a few more days before running out.

Or there’s no gouging and the supply runs completely dry because of retard hoarders and she can’t get to work at all

So do you want government price controls on everything, or just certain things?

So the gas station runs out of gas and the store owner cant feed his kids that week?

Every regulation hurts someone. Why should a business with rent/labor/utilities be told to lose money because the government wills it?

Shoulda kept her legs closed

I’m more worried about people with all the free time in the world going and buying the stuff I need while I’m at work

I’ll gladly pay more after work but I can’t do this if they sell out while I’m at work

Let me guess. That's everyone else's problem?
